How to draw Pokémon Luvdisc in 10 steps

What you will need

 A pencil

 Paper to draw on

 Colored pencils

Starting our drawing

1. First thing first, draw four construction guidelines. One down the center of the page, one horizontal across the middle and two diagonal lines.  We will be erasing this line later so don’t make it too dark.  This line will help us to make sure our Luvdisc is symmetrical.

2. Next, let’s just start on Luvdisc’s body. Luvdisc’s body is a heart shape.  We will start with the top half of the body.  Use the guidelines for placement.

3. Now we will add in the second half of Luvdisc’s body. Draw a mirror image of the first half of the body.

4. Our next step will be to draw the outline of the mouth. The mouth is at the bottom of the “heart” which is on the left side of our drawing.

5. Smile is next! Use the guidelines to help draw the smile.  It will be almost right where the center-line goes through the drawing.

6. Now we can add Luvdisc’s cheeks. Luvdisc has a small oval where the cheek is.  Use the guidelines for placement.  The oval will be right up next to the center vertical line.

7. Now we can add in Luvdisc’s eye. This is another oval just to the left of the center vertical line.  The eye will be slightly higher than the cheek oval.

8. We are almost there! Now we just add in two ovals in the eye. They will be the pupil and an area that will show the color of the eye.

9. Now our Luvdisc is almost done! We can remove the unnecessary construction lines and the overlapping lines.  Our drawing has the lines we are removing as red.

10. Now we are done! We can now color away!
