How to draw Pokémon Shroomish in 10 steps

What you will need

 A pencil

 Paper to draw on

 Colored pencils

Starting our drawing

Step 1

First thing first, draw four construction guidelines. One down the center of the page, one horizontal across the middle and two diagonal lines.  We will be erasing this line later so don’t make it too dark.  This line will help us to make sure our Shroomish is symmetrical.

Step 2

Next, let’s just start on our Shroomish’s body. Craw a circle not quite in the center of the page.  Drawing the circle slightly toward the bottom of the page.  Only the top half of the circle will be used for the body, we will remove the rest later.

Step 3

Now we will add in the mouth. The top of the mouth is an upside-down V. The corner of the V should be where all the guidelines meet.  Then draw a bowl shape under the V, with another bowl shape inside.  Use our drawing for reference.

Step 4

It is time to add in the eyes and brow. The eyes in our drawing are closed.  They will be represented by two hill-shaped lines.  The brow will be a slight arc above both eyes.

Step 5

Our next step is to add the segments around the bottom of the body. These don’t have to be perfectly symmetrical.  Just start by showing four starting about half way through the body circle.

Step 6

Now we can finish up the top of the head by adding the protrusions that cover the hole on top of the head. There are five protrusions showing in our drawing.  Two in the front two on the sides and one in the back.

Step 7

Now we can add in the rest of the segments on the body and the legs. Use our drawing for reference.

Step 8

We are almost there! Last pieces we need to add are to add Shroomish’s spots.  Just pick four spots on the body to show the spots.  Two on either side of the face.

Step 9

Now our Shroomish is almost done! We can remove the unnecessary construction lines and the overlapping lines.  Our drawing has the lines we are removing as red.

Step 10

Now we are done with our Shroomish! We can now color away!
