How to draw Pokémon Silcoon in 10 steps
What you will need
A pencil
Paper to draw on
Colored pencils
Starting our drawing
Step 1
First thing first, draw four construction guidelines. One down the center of the page, one horizontal across the middle and two diagonal lines. We will be erasing these lines later so don’t make them too dark. These lines will help us to draw our Silcoon accurately.
Step 2
Next, let’s just start on the body of Silcoon. The body is an oval shape. Place the center of the oval near but not exactly where all the guidelines meet. Use our drawing for guidance.
Step 3
Now we will start on Silcoon’s spikes. Let’s start with the first three on top. Each spike is two long lines that intersect at the end. Show the bottom of the spikes inside the initial body oval. Do not worry about overlapping lines at this point. We will be removing those lines later.
Step 4
Our next step will be to draw the three lower spikes. Draw them like the stop ones. Use our drawing for guidance.
Step 5
Onto our very last spike. This one is behind the body in our picture, so the lines of the spike will meet at the oval, not inside the oval.
Step 6
We will continue by adding in the fringe of silk that hides the eye. Draw 5 jagged lines near where all the guidelines meet.
Step 7
Now we can add in eye. Show two loops. One inside the other. Make sure you remember the small oval shaped pupil in the middle.
Step 8
Almost there. Now we add in the lines that represent the silk that is around the body. Use our drawing for guidance.
Step 9
Now our Silcoon is almost done! We can remove the unnecessary construction lines and the overlapping lines. Our drawing has the lines we are removing as red.
Step 10
Now we are done! We can now color away!
